Rooted is proud to announce that it has partnered up with Domino’s Assen in The Netherlands. Domino’s Assen has bought bonds from Rooted to deliver all of their orders to its customers carbon neutral.
The company had been in talks with Domino’s Assen for a while, but can now finally announce it publicly. Dominos Assen will deliver all its pizzas CO2 neutral in the coming year. Owner Omid has the CO2 emissions for all its 12 scooters fully offset by purchasing bonds from Rooted.
For every bond that Domino`s Assen buys, Rooted will be planting a fig tree. Each tree compensates about 500kg of CO2. In total, Domino’s Assen will be able to drive 175,000 km CO2 neutral. Rooted started the website and sale of bonds in January 2021. They haven’t been focusing on marketing thus far, Yet the new company has already sold more than 170 bonds!
